3 Core – Pressures

The organization of the forces of life within a world picture – as knowledge and as an opportunity for action – follows the logic of pressure: A force that encounters and is applied to something. Logic that fuses effects and actions into a product. Which turns the encounter into a point of view, the plane of reference that cuts through reality.

Pressure emerges from the limited time of life and the mission. It turns contact into a connection. Indicates an affinity between things and a duration of time. That is why one can deal with pressures through the systematic regulation of actions. Through metamorphosis.

When a force encounters something dense and solid – clear and distinct – the resistance intensifies together with the danger of reaching a breaking point. The plane will become clearer. But when a force encounters something that is big and wide, general and vulgar, it becomes more distributed and the pressure diminishes and weakens. The chance of spiraling and loss increases. The threat of the pressure to assimilate into life itself increases. Perceived as purely external. Inducing anxiety and paralyzing, provoking violence and disproportionality. Either way, pressure is manifested. Making ripples.

Pressure does not depend only on the degree of force but mostly on the density of the contact and duration of the action. Pressure is a distilling and forging force. It takes us back to the essence, to instincts, to the honesty at the core of the action. It can transform elements into material, events into principles. People into heroes.

Without pressure there is no progress.
