Produces a unified, comprehensive, and all-encompassing picture, mostly in the attempt to explain and justify, break down and eliminate the mystery of existence.

Wizardry is nothing but a mystery machine that produces world images which are both partial and complete. A machine that produces complex and strange worlds. The magic takes hold of us and binds our attention. Gives precedence to belief and effect: To feeling. As though taking away our control over our destiny, and turning us into believers and dreamers.

And like in a dream, the questions change. These are not questions of truth or fiction, right or wrong, but of meaning and interpretation.
