5 Core – The Idiots
5 Core – The Idiots
The idiots are the agents of action. They act before fear and apprehension, as affirmation of desires and urges. The idiot is facing outwards, towards the social, the artificial, the human and common. He wants his action to be realized and seen out of urgency, without any delay. What comes in must come out. Preferably right now. In the action. (This is why the idiots are often wrongly perceived as a nihilistic, negating, and demolition force). The idiots are the representatives of the action that insolently insist not to learn from mistakes. Insisting to express oneself as a function of knowing oneself. Meaning, out of resistance, brutal honesty, and objection to institutions, to culture, and to social norms.
The Idiots wish to eliminate dilemmas, turn the alter ego into the ego. They are sensitive to hypocrisy and pretense and hate masks, but they do like the style. In that sense, the idiots present distinct characteristics, aesthetic cohesion, even if it is not completely clear what it stands for. Like an “empty” ideology.
Being an idiot is a matter of attitude towards life. A position. An attempt to turn duration into leisure by making oneself available and ready to act. Without context, and against society. The idiots summon an encounter with the action in its futility, devoid of purpose and beyond boredom. Out of absolute commitment to the action itself. Out of loyalty to friends along the way.
