Ace of Eyes – Idea
(Entry cards)
The entry card into the realm of absolute values, the realm of Ideas.
Ideas are a perfect – that is to say, an imaginary – form of things. They always exceed any possible experience (“external” to life) and precede everything. Yet they exist as “an internal reflection” of the absolute. Ideas are present in our actions and deeds; they are at the core of our decisions and the hierarchies they produce. Ideas serve as the soul’s moral compass.
The world of Ideas involves the paradox of the creative act: Perceiving the absolute possible. Setting action against absolute value highlights the gap between internal and external, how things should be and how they are, between myself and the other, myself and the world. A comparison that can lead to criticism, discontent, to stopping and abandoning the action in favor of theoretical thoughts. In favor of an indulgent introspection of the tormented self.
On the other hand, acting out of unconditional acceptance exposes our existence as absolute yet fleeting reflections of the truth.
Be a narcissist who loves the Truth.
